Some books deserve to look as though they have been handed down through generations. Our leather-look jackets give the seven Harry Potter novels the presence of an antique library binding: rich color, the texture of aged leather, and titles worthy of a shelf at Hogwarts itself.
The design comes in four colorways that quietly honor the Hogwarts houses, so every reader can choose their own. Select the Scholastic U.S. editions or the Bloomsbury U.K. editions, sourced from the publisher in England with the original British text. It is a set for the reader who grew up with Harry and now wants a collection with the gravity of a classic, and a gift that will mean a great deal to a fellow Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin.

FAQs
What is the difference between the U.S. and U.K. editions?
The U.S. editions are the Scholastic hardcovers. The U.K. editions are Bloomsbury's British publications, with the original text, including Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Are the jackets real leather?
No. They are printed art-print jackets designed to evoke antique leather bindings. If you would like genuine leather, our Leather Bound Harry Potter set is hand-bound in full leather.
How do the four colorways honor the houses?
Each takes its color from a house banner: a deep red for Gryffindor, green for Slytherin, blue for Ravenclaw and yellow for Hufflepuff. Rendered in the muted tones of aged leather rather than bright heraldic color, they suggest a house allegiance quietly, as a well-loved old binding would.
