There is a reason color-curated books have become one of the most cherished tools of interior design. They offer the richness of a well-loved library without the decades it takes to build one, and when every volume is chosen with care, the result feels not like a shortcut but like a collection. The Collection

These are quality hardcover books in previously owned condition, each displayed with its colorful binding exposed to create a layered, chromatic effect. Choose from ten colors: Red, Blue, Black, Brown, Green, Grey, Warm Neutrals, Orange, Purple and Yellow. Order a single hue or combine several to compose the palette your space requires.

Each linear foot includes approximately 10 books, with a minimum of one foot per color. Because the books are curated by color rather than content, the photographs are representative examples, and spine text colors will vary across titles, adding to the natural, collected beauty of the finished shelf.

Each order is curated and assembled for you. Please allow four weeks for production. For orders of more than 10 feet, colors not shown, or specific project needs, please write to clientservices@junipercustom.com, and our team will gladly discuss timing and pricing.

What are books curated by color?
They are real hardcover books, selected and grouped by the color of their bindings so that a shelf reads as one harmonious field of color. The titles vary in subject, which gives the collection the warmth and authenticity of a genuine library.

What colors are available?
Ten: Red, Blue, Black, Brown, Green, Grey, Warm Neutrals, Orange, Purple and Yellow. Each may be ordered on its own or combined with others, with a minimum of one foot per color.

How is this different from paper-wrapped or fabric-wrapped books?
Wrapped books conceal their spines beneath a single uniform finish for a clean, graphic look. Books curated by color keep their original bindings and spine titles visible, so the shelf feels layered, organic and collected over time while still holding to a clear palette.
