A true friend is one of life's great gifts, and some of literature's most beloved friendships belong to childhood: a little girl and a big friendly giant, a horse and the people who treat him kindly, Dorothy and her companions on the yellow brick road. This set gathers three such stories in illustrated editions, with drawings by Quentin Blake, Lucy Kemp-Welch and W. W. Denslow, cloth bindings, acid-free paper and silk ribbon markers. Our color-blocked jackets in pink and blue give the set a fresh, modern look. It is a gift for a young reader, a pair of best friends, or a child just discovering the joy of chapter books.

No. Each book presents the full text as originally published, with its classic illustrations.
