A Juniper Custom full custom collection is a completely bespoke curation experience, designed for collections of 11–100 books. Whether you are drawn to a particular genre, a beloved author, a specific theme, or simply the aesthetic of a beautifully unified shelf, our dedicated curators and designers work closely with you to build something that feels entirely, unmistakably yours.

Have a room whose character you'd like to deepen with books? We approach that with the same care and creativity — from a kitchen shelf that deserves something warm and personal, to a den that calls for intellectual weight and visual drama. Books have the power to complete a space in a way that nothing else can, and we know precisely how to use them.

If a title exists, we will find it. If it is only available in paperback, we will bind it. And if you're uncertain about design direction, our team is skilled at drawing out a vision you may not yet have words for.

The Process

Begin by clicking "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceeding to checkout. Within 2 business days our team will reach out to discuss your title preferences, the scale of your collection, and your design direction — including whether you'd like custom jackets, publisher format, or a considered mixture of both. Feel free to share anything from our portfolio that has caught your eye.

From there, you'll receive a comprehensive proposal and initial design concept outlining the full scope, cost, and timeline of your project — typically within 1–2 weeks. Your deposit is deducted in full from the total project cost.

A custom collection encompasses 11–100 books and is ideal for a single room, a dedicated shelf, or a curated corner that needs a considered literary presence. A custom library is our most expansive offering, built for spaces of 100 books or more where the collection itself becomes an architectural and design statement. Both begin with the same commitment: every title chosen with intention and every detail considered with care.

Do I need to know exactly which books I want before I get started?
Not at all — and many of our most successful collections have begun with nothing more than a feeling or a direction. "I love mid-century American fiction."
