Some series become part of who we are: the world devoured in a single weekend, the characters revisited year after year. Our sister company, Juniper Books, has long designed sets for the stories fans love most, and through our Full Custom service that same devotion is available for any series of your choosing, sourced in hardcover and dressed in jackets designed with you. Past projects have included Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone trilogy, Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy, Gregory Maguire's Wicked, Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn and Rebecca Yarros's Empyrean. It is a tribute for the devoted fan, and the most personal of gifts.
The Process
- Begin with a deposit. Click "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceed to checkout.
- We reach out within 2 business days to discuss the series you love and your design preferences, including anything from our portfolio that has inspired you.
- Curation and design. A curator researches availability while a designer develops initial concepts. This typically takes 1 to 2 weeks.
- Your proposal. We present an estimate and initial Design Concept outlining the full scope, cost and timeline.
- Approval. If you accept, we send an invoice before acquiring the books and producing the custom jackets.
Your deposit is deducted in full from the total project estimate.
Full Custom projects vary in cost and lead time depending on scope, title availability and design.
Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers our labor to research books and prepare design concepts.

Yes. The examples above are only a beginning, and we go to great lengths to source the titles you love.
What if a title was never published in hardcover?
Our leather binding service can bind paperback editions into hardcovers that sit beautifully with the rest of the set.
How involved am I in the design?
As involved as you wish. Bring detailed references or simply a feeling; nothing is produced without your approval.
