There is a particular joy in meeting Mole and Ratty on the riverbank, or galloping alongside Black Beauty, for the very first time. This set gathers seven Everyman's Library children's classics, from Kipling's Just So Stories to the daring of the Scarlet Pimpernel, in custom green jackets bearing a vintage-inspired turtle. With cloth bindings, acid-free paper, silk ribbon markers and illustrations by artists such as Arthur Rackham, Walter Crane and Kate Greenaway, these are books to be read aloud, cherished and one day handed down.
