The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King - Hardcover Book Set with Custom Jackets
Made to Order at Juniper Custom in Boulder, Colorado
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed. With those twelve words, Stephen King began one of the most ambitious, mythic, and fiercely beloved sagas in the history of American literature. Eight volumes. Decades of devoted readership. A world that exists at the intersection of every story King has ever told — and a series that deserves a collector's edition worthy of its legendary status.
This is that edition.
The Collection
Juniper Custom's Dark Tower hardcover set brings together all eight volumes of King's epic saga in a collector's edition that is as visually extraordinary as the story it houses. Each book has been skillfully rebound from the Scribner paperback editions into a durable, beautifully finished hardcover — a transformation that gives this notoriously difficult-to-find hardcover series the permanent, shelf-worthy presence it has always deserved.
The custom jacket design captures the essence and emotional sweep of King's world — the desolate grandeur of the Gunslinger's journey, the darkness of the Man in Black, the mythic tension that runs through every page of the saga. Displayed together on a shelf, the eight volumes form a visual statement that every Stephen King fan and serious collector will immediately recognize as something exceptional.
The eight volumes included, rebound from Scribner paperback editions, are:
- The Gunslinger
- The Drawing of the Three
- The Waste Lands
- Wizard and Glass
- The Wind Through the Keyhole
- Wolves of the Calla
- Song of Susannah
- The Dark Tower
Each set is made entirely to order. Please allow four weeks for production.
All Juniper Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable due to the made-to-order nature of each set.
FAQs
Why are the books rebound from paperback editions?
Because a complete, matching hardcover Dark Tower set is remarkably difficult to assemble. The volumes were first published over more than three decades, in different sizes and by different publishers, and several of the early hardcovers are now scarce. We begin instead with the uniform Scribner paperbacks and rebind each as a hardcover, so that all eight volumes stand together with the same proportions and presence.
Where does The Wind Through the Keyhole belong?
Between Wizard and Glass and Wolves of the Calla. King wrote it in 2012, years after completing the saga, and described it as Book 4.5. This set places it where it falls in Roland's journey, so the story may be read in its natural sequence.
How does the jacket design reflect the world of The Dark Tower?
King's saga is at once a Western, a high fantasy and a meditation on storytelling itself. Our design centers on the pursuit of the Man in Black across a desolate landscape, and when the eight volumes stand in sequence, the full composition emerges as one continuous image, a shelf that tells the story of Roland's quest before a single page is turned.
