Do the book spines form a picture?
Yes. When the ten books stand in order, their spines come together to form the purple Knight Bus, with each book's number and title set at its center.
Which editions are included?
The Bloomsbury U.K. hardcovers of books one through seven, the script of The Cursed Child, and the Scholastic U.S. editions of two Fantastic Beasts screenplays.
Why does the set use the British editions?
Because they carry the story as it was first published, beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which American readers know as Sorcerer's Stone, and with the British spellings and vocabulary of the original text. For many collectors, the Bloomsbury editions are the truest way to own the series, and they suit a design inspired by the Knight Bus, which travels only within Britain.
