William Faulkner gave American literature one of its most complete imagined worlds: Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, whose families, feuds and ghosts recur across a lifetime of novels. A Nobel laureate and the towering figure of the Southern Renaissance, he wrote prose of extraordinary daring and beauty. This set gathers his novels in five Library of America volumes, in custom jackets based on the iconic original dust jacket of Light in August. It is a set for the serious reader, the student of the American South, and any library that aspires to completeness.
