Before the films, there were the books. Ian Fleming introduced James Bond in Casino Royale in 1953 and, over the following decade, wrote the twelve novels and two story collections that defined the modern spy thriller. The First Edition Library reproduced each of those first editions in facsimile, faithful to the original size, typography, and dust jacket artwork, and placed each in a protective slipcase. Long out of print and highly sought after, the set belongs in the collector's library, the Bond devotee's study, or any room where classic thrillers are kept with pride.
