Cook’s Books Sets
Made to Order at Juniper Custom in Boulder, Colorado
Every serious kitchen has its references: the books that teach technique, settle debates, and turn an ordinary weeknight into a meal worth remembering. This set gathers five of the most trusted, from Julia Child's French method to the encyclopedic Joy of Cooking. Between them they hold thousands of recipes, from a classic roast salmon to a comforting eggplant parmesan.
The custom book jackets are simple and clean, made to sit beautifully in any kitchen, in blue, red, green or grey. Each jacket is printed on high-quality paper, much like an art print, and finished with a matte laminate that makes it durable, tear-resistant and lovely to handle. It is a set for the home cook ready to master the fundamentals, and a generous gift for newlyweds, a friend setting up a first kitchen, or the person who already cooks for everyone.

FAQs
Which cookbooks are included?
The five titles listed above, from Mark Bittman, Julia Child, Amanda Hesser, Joy of Cooking and the editors of Cook's Illustrated. Jackets are available in blue, red, green or grey.
How do the five books complement one another?
Each answers a different question a cook will ask. Joy of Cooking and How to Cook Everything are the everyday references, Mastering the Art of French Cooking teaches classical technique, The Essential New York Times Cookbook gathers more than a century of beloved newspaper recipes, and Cook's Illustrated explains the science of why a recipe works. Together they form a complete working library for the kitchen.

Certainly. Through our Full Custom service, we can curate a collection around the cooks you love most. Our Ina Garten Barefoot Contessa Cookbook Set is one example.
