What This Service Offers

Juniper Books has long been dedicated to the art of the pop culture book set — building relationships with publishers and authors, launching new and updated sets monthly, and designing jacket artwork that honors the spirit of the stories fans love most. On Juniper Custom, that same passion is available to you as a fully bespoke, one-of-a-kind experience.

We will source hardcover editions of virtually any pop culture series you love — from epic fantasy and literary fiction to contemporary favorites and beloved classics of the genre. If a title is available, we will find it. If it only exists in paperback, we will bind it. Then our in-house design team works directly with you to create custom jackets that bring your vision to life with artistry and intention.

Past projects have included series such as Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone Trilogy, Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth, Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, Gregory Maguire's Wicked, Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series, and Rebecca Yarros' Empyrean series. The Process

Click "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceed to checkout. Within 2 business days, our team will reach out to discuss the titles you'd like included and your design preferences — including anything from our portfolio that has inspired you. From there, you'll receive a comprehensive proposal and initial design concept outlining the full scope, cost, and timeline of your project, typically within 1–2 weeks. Your deposit is deducted in full from the total project cost.

Full custom projects vary in cost and lead time depending on scope and title availability.

Can I get a custom set made for any book series, or only the ones listed?
The listed series are examples of the kinds of projects we love — but they are far from the limits of what we can do. If it has been published in hardcover, or can be bound from a paperback edition, we can almost certainly build a custom set around it. Bring us the series that matters most to you, however niche or mainstream, and our team will research availability and present a proposal. The more specific your passion, the more meaningful the finished set.

Can I be involved in the jacket design, or do your designers make all the decisions?
Your involvement is not just welcome — it is essential to what makes this service special. Some clients arrive with detailed visual references and a clear aesthetic direction; others simply know the feeling they want the finished set to evoke. Either way, our designers work from your instincts outward, presenting renderings for your approval before anything goes to production. Nothing is finalized without your sign-off, and the design conversation is one of the most rewarding parts of the entire process.
