Our favorite author service builds fully bespoke book sets and collections around the complete works — or the most essential works — of any author you love. Jacket design for author collections takes many forms, and we follow your lead entirely. Some clients want the author themselves at the center of the design — portraits, signatures, imagery drawn from their life and world. Others want the stories to drive the art, with jacket concepts that evoke the themes, settings, and spirit of the books themselves. Both approaches, and everything in between, are within our designers' range.

In cases where an author's titles have not been released in hardcover, or where hardcover editions are rare and costly to acquire, we offer a custom rebinding service — transforming paperback editions into elegant hardcovers, complete with bespoke jacket design that elevates the entire collection into something cohesive and beautiful.

The Process

Begin by clicking "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceeding to checkout. Within 2 business days, our team will reach out to discuss the author, the number of volumes you'd like, and your design preferences — including whether you'd like custom jackets, original publisher format, or no jackets at all. A dedicated curator then researches availability while a designer develops initial concepts — typically within 1–2 weeks. You'll receive a comprehensive proposal and design concepts outlining the full scope, cost, and timeline. Your deposit is deducted in full from the total project estimate.

Full custom projects vary in cost and lead time depending on scope, title availability, and design complexity.

The deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the labor involved in researching your books and preparing design concepts and proposals.
