What This Service Offers

Our beach house library service combines expert curation with bespoke jacket design to create a collection that feels native to your space — its light, its palette, its particular spirit. Some of our most celebrated coastal projects have taken a beautifully minimalist approach: pristine white custom jackets, meticulously designed to harmonize with built-in shelving and the clean architectural lines of a coastal interior, creating a display that is as visually serene as the ocean beyond the window.

But white is only the beginning. We have designed beach house collections in soft driftwood neutrals, faded sea-glass tones, warm bleached linens, and bold coastal colors that celebrate rather than quiet the energy of a seaside home. Books can be presented in custom-designed jackets, in their original publisher format, or without jackets entirely for an organic, gathered-over-time aesthetic. Every decision is yours, guided by our expertise and a genuine understanding of what coastal spaces ask for.

The Process

Begin by clicking "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceeding to checkout. Within 2 business days, our team will reach out to discuss the scale of your collection, your design preferences, and any specific titles or subjects you'd like included. Our in-house team researches availability and title selection while a designer develops your initial concept — typically within 1–2 weeks. You'll receive a comprehensive proposal and preliminary design for your feedback. If you choose to proceed, an invoice for the balance is sent before books are acquired and design is finalized. Your deposit is deducted in full from the total.

Full custom projects vary in cost and lead time depending on scope and complexity.

Absolutely — and some of our most celebrated coastal projects have been built specifically around the architecture of a room's built-in shelving. When we know the dimensions, configuration, and aesthetic of the shelving we are designing for, our curators can select books by size and our designers can develop jacket concepts that treat the shelving as a canvas — creating a visual composition that integrates with the architecture rather than simply sitting in front of it. If you have built-in shelving in your beach house, please share elevations, photographs, or dimensions when we reach out after your deposit. The more we understand the space, the more precisely and beautifully we can fill it.
