America has always been written in many voices. Our American Landscape Set gathers eight of them: contemporary novelists whose stories draw on multicultural roots and the traditions that shape American life, in a collection that is poignant, varied and unforgettable.

For the jacket, we commissioned artist Chris Huang to create an original colored pencil drawing. It weaves together Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, Chinese, Mexican, African, Native American and African American symbols and imagery into one rich tapestry across the spines. It is a set for the reader who seeks out stories beyond their own experience, and a meaningful gift for a book club, a classroom library or a family shelf.

The Collection

The titles change periodically as books go in and out of print. Past selections have come from publishers including Knopf, Little, Brown and Company, Astra House, Scribner, Riverhead Books, Soho Press and Grove Atlantic.

Each set is made entirely to order. Please allow two weeks for production.
