Every great library begins with a single question: what belongs here? Our curation service answers it with knowledge, careful listening and the publisher relationships and expertise our team shares with our sister company, Juniper Books, which has built collections for more than 25 years.

Whether you are assembling a single book set, a collection for a particular room, or a library meant to define a home for generations, we research, select, acquire, screen and catalog every title according to the criteria that matter to you: author, publisher, genre, subject, size or binding. The result is not an assortment of good books, but a collection built for you alone. The Process

1. Begin with a deposit. Click "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceed to checkout.
2. We reach out within 2 business days to discuss the size of your collection and the criteria that will guide its curation.
3. Research and catalog. A dedicated curator researches options and availability, presenting a full or sample catalog depending on the scale of the project. This typically takes 1 to 2 weeks.
4. Your proposal. We present an estimate and catalog outlining the full scope, cost and timeline.
5. Approval. If you accept, we send an invoice before acquiring the books.

Your deposit is deducted in full from the total project estimate.

Full Custom projects vary in cost and lead time depending on scope.

FAQs

What criteria can guide a curation?
Nearly any: a single author or publisher, a literary period, a cultural tradition, a beloved childhood reading list in beautiful editions, or a combination of all of these. Nothing is acquired until you have reviewed and approved the catalog.

How are the books screened and organized?
Every title is examined for condition, edition and visual consistency, then cataloged by author, subject, size or binding, giving you a living record of your library and a foundation for all you add to it.

How is this different from your other services?
Our other services begin with a format, such as Everyman's Library editions or a leather-bound library. Full Custom curation begins with you, and draws on the full breadth of our sourcing to build whatever your library requires.
