Family Pet Book Set - Full Custom - Get Started with a Deposit
Curated at Juniper Custom in Boulder, Colorado
Some members of the family never quite make it onto the bookshelf, though they are present in every room, curled at the foot of a chair or stretched across a favorite cushion. A custom pet book set places them at the center of something lasting. Our designers transform your pet's portrait into a custom jacket, built around your chosen palette and your companion's breed, personality and spirit.
Books may be chosen for their content, from breed histories to beloved animal classics, or purely for size and presence if the set is meant for display. Add personalized flap text, refine the titles, or bring us a creative direction we have never seen. You are never limited to the examples on this page.
The Process
- Begin with a deposit. Click "Get Started with a Deposit" and proceed to checkout.
- We reach out within 2 business days to discuss the number of books, any titles or subjects you would like included, your design preferences, and whether the set is chiefly for reading or display.
- Research and design. Our team researches titles and availability while a designer develops your initial concept. This typically takes 1 to 2 weeks.
- Your proposal. We present an estimate and preliminary design for your feedback.
- Approval. If you accept, we send an invoice before acquiring the books and finalizing the design.
Your deposit is deducted in full from the total project estimate.
Full Custom projects vary in cost and lead time depending on scope and design.
Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers our labor to research books and prepare design concepts.
FAQs
Can my pet's photograph be used in the design?
Yes, and it is the surest way to make the set one of a kind. Please share several high-resolution images taken from different angles in good natural light, and our designers will find the most beautiful approach.
Can the books be chosen around a breed or animal theme?
Certainly. Our curators can gather titles on your pet's breed, animal behavior and natural history, or beloved fiction featuring animals, in whatever balance feels right.
Can a set honor a pet who has passed?
Yes. Many families commission a set as a lasting tribute to a companion whose presence shaped their home, a portrait in a different and enduring medium.
